its because dogs have shorter hair than us so they don't get split ends. except dog that don't shed. i think they get split ends
Dogs and other animals have fur. Their fur is thicker and sheds while we have hair which is thin and does not. Some animals, the dog breed the Bichon Frise has hair and not fur. This keeps them from shedding. They are capable of getting split ends.

∙ 13y agoThe same reason that humans do. The hair becomes unhealthy if you don't groom the dog correctly. Take care of the dog's coat and there will be no split ends.
