Because we believe we all people are in control of themselves and their choices, there is not pre-destined path for us. This is like asking why Christian's believe in God, it's just how they were set up.
Buddhists do not have a god because the Buddha taught a path to the end of suffering through a rational examination of what we can know through our own direct experience -- through our senses. The vast majority of Buddhists have no experience of deities through their senses. Since we cannot know whether there are or are not gods (or souls, or life after death) through our senses, we can't gain any useful information about them -- anything we say about them is mere guesswork and therefore is not useful to ending suffering here in this life.
They don't. Buddhism is not a religion. Buddhists don't have a god or deity. .
People who do not recognize the existence of god are know as Atheist, which is from the base word theist(One who believes in a god or greater entity). Buddhists also dont believe in a "god".
No
No. I heard a venerable Buddhist Monk say "Oh God" today on the radio and as he said "its just an engligh saying". Anyway, Buddhists dont mind the concept of God - they just dont believe he created the earth

No. Check out Wikipedia.
no..he is a Hindu god
Buddists follow the teachings of Buddah and do not worship a God
Hinduism believes in a Creator God, while Buddhists do not. the case system
Buddhists are able to believe in a god but Buddhism takes no stance on whether a god exists at all or not.
Buddhists have no opinion on this question as they do not incorporate the concept of "god" into their beliefs. The presence or absence of any god(s) does not impact the imdividuals progress towards enlightenment. As a concept there is is no reason for buddhists to comment on god(s) any more than Christians would have a meaingful contribution to a Wiccan discussion on the purpose of moving widdershins about a central point during a ceremony.
Buddhists do not believe in a creator God. Angelic and divine beings are part of Buddhist tradition, but one is generally better off born a human, because humans can achieve enlightenment.
