You may have a fault somewhere in your wiring. Either your head unit isn't grounded to the car properly, or you have a connection break between either your HU and your battery, your HU and your ignition switch or your ignition switch and your battery. If you had a break between your ignition switch and battery you'd have serious issues.
Check all fuses first, the 'radio' fuse is usually inside the car, and is usually 15A.
If you can't find a break, your head unit may be faulty.
Then you can see (on the clock) it's time to buy a new radio!
2000 expedition wipers & radio don't work when in drive
switch the power wires round red to black black to red this should work if the radio is not original
the radio needs to be fixed or replaced
Remove radio and either replace or have serviced at repair shop
Sounds like dead short to ground in the radio
The cause of your power doors and locks and radio volume not to work could be a blown fuse. Locate the proper fuse to ensure it has not blown.
You have enough battery power to power the radio, but not enough to turn over your engine. CHeck battery.
More than likely blown fuse.
dude....you dont want to do that...unless you want your dash lights not to work...
Mine works fine
Check to see if you are getting power to the radio input wire - if so could be a bad radio
