Why don't my radio play in my 93 Mark VIII even though it's on.?

If it was working fine and then just stopped working then it's probably the amp that is in the trunk on a tray under the package shelf. If it is the amp, only the ones from 93 to 94 will work.

Nope diffrent frame type. Dew98 is mark 8 Dewlite for mustang. I dont believe they will fit

First would be to check the fuse, drivers side of the dash, small panel pops out. or check the 30amp fuse under the hood. could be fuse 28 there

call your orig dealer and ask for the radio code if you dont have it i think the radio gives you 2 or 3 attemtps to input the radio code, if you dont get it right it will lock you out....if that happens, unhook car's battery and reconnect ...when you turn on the radio, you will then be prompted to enter the radio code. hope this helps
