You are very tired, have agood sleep before you die of the following :

Excessive yawning (1-4 yawns/minute) is associated with a variety of conditions. The majority of these are disorders of the central nervous system, and include epilepsy, encephalitis, brain tumors, multiple sclerosis and progressive supranuclear palsy. Excessive yawning is also associated with opiate withdrawl and the consumption of a variety of drugs that affect neurotransmitters, such as drugs prescribed for Parkinson's disease or depression.

well doctors have proved that yawning has a direct connection to the amount of oxygen in someones blood. lower levels tend to make us tired or fatigued.

when we need to be alert, our bodies require that there is a sufficient amount of oxygen in the blood. If there isn't enough, our bodies react by yawning to let in more thus increasing the blood's oxygen levels so we can go about our day. but excessive yawning could be more serious then just low oxygen levels.

There are several maladies, which may be directly related in causing excessive yawning like anxiety, heart attack, brain tumors, epilepsy and so on...now don't get too worried..im not saying you have any of those. but i would advise you to see your doctor and explain to them how often you yawn, how much sleep your getting etc. your doc will most likely send you home with a prescription and advise you to get more rest.

At this time you should remain on the lookout for any other symptoms, which could seem unordinary to you as they may have a direct association to your excessive yawning and should be reported to the Doctor immediately.

Why do people yawn?

As we all know, when we get tiered we can become sleepy, groggy, grouchy, and even down right mean! But did you know that yawning is not just a symptom of being tired, but could be a sign of something much much more serious... yawning is a symptom of a lack of oxygen to your body. That’s right, a lack of oxygen can result in low 02 levels in your blood and that can cause a variety of problems which include sleepiness and yawning not to mention other more serious conditions in the respiratory system. So if you happen to have a pulse-ox (the little thingy that they put on your finger at the hospital), try using it the next time you find yourself yawning in excess.Musicdad.

How do you get rid of constant yawning that was brought on by seroquel.. stopped taking it after a couple of days because of the constant yawning.. just want the constant yawning to go away..?

I've been taking seroquel for nearly three and a half years now. I know exactly what you are talking about. I would have yawning fits after a night that I was already quite tired, and then preceded to take my medication. I would wake up the next day still moderately feeling the effects, with yawning added as well. I also experienced these symptoms when I would take a few more then were prescribed on nights that I found it borderline impossible to sleep. For me the yawning is only present when too much of the medication is taken. You can go back to your doctor and see if you can lower your dose just a tad. If you are not taking seroquel for psychosis or seizures you will be suprised to find that seroquel even at low levels can help greatly with sleep and when coupled with another depression medication its awesome at making your life feel vastly better.

Does constant constipation cause bowel cancer?

While constant constipation itself may not directly cause bowel cancer, it can be associated with certain risk factors that may increase the likelihood of developing bowel cancer over time. Chronic constipation, particularly if it leads to prolonged or repeated straining during bowel movements, can potentially contribute to the development of certain bowel conditions or factors that are linked to an increased risk of bowel cancer. These include: Bowel Habits: Chronic constipation can alter bowel habits and disrupt normal bowel function, leading to infrequent or incomplete bowel movements. Prolonged stool retention in the colon may increase exposure to potentially harmful substances, such as toxins or carcinogens, present in the stool. Bowel Diseases: Chronic constipation may be associated with certain bowel diseases or conditions that are linked to an increased risk of bowel cancer, such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. These conditions involve chronic inflammation of the bowel lining, which can predispose individuals to cellular changes that may progress to cancer over time. Dietary Factors: Chronic constipation may be indicative of dietary habits that are low in fiber, fluids, and other essential nutrients. A diet lacking in fiber and rich in processed foods, red and processed meats, and saturated fats has been associated with an increased risk of bowel cancer. Insufficient dietary fiber intake can contribute to constipation and may also affect bowel health and transit time. Lifestyle Factors: Chronic constipation may be more common in individuals with sedentary lifestyles or inadequate physical activity. Lack of regular exercise can contribute to sluggish bowel function and increase the risk of constipation. Sedentary behavior has also been associated with a higher risk of bowel cancer independently of constipation. While chronic constipation may be associated with factors that increase the risk of bowel cancer, it's important to note that not all cases of constipation lead to cancer. Additionally, many cases of constipation are benign and can be managed with lifestyle modifications, dietary changes, and over-the-counter remedies. However, individuals experiencing chronic or persistent constipation should consult with a healthcare provider for proper evaluation, diagnosis, and management to identify and address any underlying causes or risk factors for bowel cancer. Regular screenings for bowel cancer, such as colonoscopies, may also be recommended based on individual risk factors and guidelines. Early detection and intervention remain key in effectively managing bowel health and reducing the risk of cancer.
