A goal is an idea of the future or desired result that a person or a group of people envisions, plans and commits to achieve. People commit to achieving their goals by setting targets and declaring strategies to reach them.
Goals are important in human life because they give you a way, they keep you focused, they keep you motivated, and they help you to get better life. Having goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible. Tony Robbins says, "If you don't have goals, you're just working." And that's true. You need to have something to strive for if you want to get ahead in life.
People who have never set goals usually work just hard enough not to get fired and usually live just above the poverty line their entire lives. But people who have set goals and written them down are usually more successful because they have something to strive for. They are focused on what they want to achieve and they are motivated to do whatever it takes to achieve their goals.
One of the best things about having goals is that it helps you to get better life. When you have something to strive for, you tend to live a better life because you are always trying to improve yourself. You are always trying to learn new things and to become better than you were yesterday. And that is what life is all about - becoming the best version of yourself that you can be.
