Assuming the US has indeed reduced its commitment to these international organizations, the answer may vary as to from which point of view you analyze the current affairs. One might say that the United Nations (UN) and more specifically the Security Council is losing its credibility as a resourceful instrument to the US since the rising influence from states like Russia and China that also hold the "power of veto" (Article 27 United Nations Charter).

The United States has always had an uneasy relationship with the International Court of Justice (ICJ), especially after the Court ruled in the 1984 case Nicaragua v. United States on war reparations. Consequently, the US withdrew from the Court's compulsory jurisdiction in 1986.
