If you have missed any Birth Control pills, take a pregnancy test. If not, there is less cause for concern. Absence of withdrawal bleeding can happen when you're on hormonal birth control. Because hormonal birth control decreases the amount of flow, sometimes it can disappear altogether. For some women, this is a welcome change, and for others it's a cause for concern. If it happens again next month, and it worries you, contact your health care provider to discuss the possibility of a change in pills to one with a different hormone profile. And do take a pregnancy test if you have any other symptoms of pregnancy.

The birth control pill can make your period lighter. "A day late" is within the norm for women on or off the pill. If you're expecting that the pill will make your period always come on a Tuesday, four weeks apart, you are likely to be disappointed. For some women the pill makes the period this predictable, but they are the exception.
If you are on the pill, don't take the pills for your period week, skip directly to the pills for the following week. If you aren't on the pill, there is no way to skip a period.
Yes. The pill is not always affective.
Yes, if you start the birth control pill for the first time before your period, your period will come later. It usually comes during the last week of the cycle.
That differs for everyone and depends on where you were in the pill cycle when you stopped for a week. If you don't get a period within four weeks, have a pregnancy test.
After taking six weeks of active birth control pills without the pill-free week, you can expect withdrawal bleeding when you take a pill-free week. You may also have unpredictable bleeding.
yes
For a safer protection, you might miss the period between both drugs. You might start the pill on the day you were supposed to start your "drug-free week". You might also start the pill 2-3 days later. It shouldn't affect birth control.
If you do this then you put yourself at risk of pregnancy
