with there ears
Horese Head dropped ears drooped, sluggish movement?
Pigmentation spots (dark mole-like spots) may occur especially in chinchillas with the beige gene but this is nothing to worry about.
We have a chinchilla and he is not like oher chinchillas he hates other chinchillas and loves food he lived in a shed but we rescued him I don't really understand what you mean by adapt i only know what's it's like in a home not the wild because most chinchillas get eaten in the wild and live in the ground
Chinchillas are (almost) like any other pet (socialization wise). You have to gain their trust by interacting with them everyday for about 3-6 hours. Most chinchillas take 3 months to fully earn your trust. If they trust you (and they are used to you petting them) they won't mind being pet. They LOVE if you scratch (not too hard) their chins! One of my chinchillas likes being pet between the ears.
The chinchilla has adapted by having large ears to help other preditors. Dust and sand are common in a chinchillas habitat. So they will clean themselves, chinchillas either gather in groups to help groom each other or roll around in the volcanic dust found mostly in their habitat. Though chinchillas mostly feed on hay if they are bought as a pet, in the wild, they know to nibble to keep their teeth trim and healthy.
If a predator grabs them they lose what it grabbed like if i grabbed its fur the fur will be in my hand and another adaptation it has is to urinate on predators. (wouldn't you love to be the predator) I hope I helped :)
Olive oil, almond oil etc dropped into the ears to soften takes about a week
there are 3 types of chinchillas there are 3 types of chinchillas
No Chinchillas are NOT endangered.
yes chinchillas are cool
Stop talking about chinchillas! Theyre not interesting and no one cares! Kill the chinchillas that is the solution
