Check for a bent wheel, defective tire, broken motor mount, defective CV joint.
Wheels are not balanced or ball joints
Wheels need to be balanced, especially if shaking increases with speed..Tom.
get your wheels balanced
You have a mechanical defect such as a worn wheel bearing or your wheels are not correctly balanced.
I had a minor one, balanced the wheels and it went away, you may also have a tire separation. I have heard of major shaking issues with the CTS though
brake replacememnt should not make car shakehave your wheels balanced and see if that fixes the problem. may have lost a balance weight off wheels when wheels removed from vehicleHave the tires balanced and/or check the wheels and tires for "round". A bent rim or damaged tire can cause shaking as well.
Start off by having the wheels balanced and if it persists check for bad wheel bearings or have them do it while they're balancing the wheels.
They need to be balanced. This is done by placing them on a machine which spins the wheels and determines where and how much weight to put along the rim. The weights are either clamped along the rim or there are self-adhesive weights that can be stuck to the inside on custom rims.
because wheels need balancing
Try having the wheels balanced.
i would start by having tires checked and then balanced and wheels checked for trueness, if that doesn cure issue could be the alignment, a bad wheel bearing or worn suspension components
you need to re-aline the wheels
