i have a 2000 pontiac grand prix that seem to burn alot of antifree
intake manifold gasket is leaking and water is getting on the plugs, plastic piece melts and causes leak

A whistling noise indicates a vacuum leak.

Check to see if you have too much engine oil. If not you have some serious engine problems. Possibly a bad valve seal, head gasket or major engine problems.
Any bolt that passes through the block/head into the cooling system should have thread sealant applied to the threads when installed.
NO, but some will leak out when loosening the radiator hose. A LOT will leak out when completely removing the hose, so have a bucket on standby.
Just had the same problem on my Grand Am. It was the water pump.
Stop leak is a bad idea in any vehicle because it blocks the cooling ports causing the engine to run hot.
