Why is Barack Obama special?

First, not everyone thinks he is "cool," if you are referring to the slang adjective that means someone who is admired and everyone wants to be like him. Presidents always have supporters and detractors, and Mr. Obama is no exception. Those who think he is cool like his style, his knowledge of popular culture, and his ability to motivate a crowd (or an entire nation). Those who dislike him think he is a phony and not admirable at all.

But there is another meaning of "cool"-- someone who is calm even during a crisis, someone who is "cool under pressure." In that regard, Mr. Obama has a basic nature where he is not easily upset or flustered. Like him or not, his personality is such that when others get upset, he is known for being able to remain calm or cool.

Barack Obama is so cool because he is black and he is cleaning up the mess that Gerorge W. Bush left this country in. He exudes confidence and always appears calm under pressure. Plus he plays Basketball and all the girls love him. The last president that was this cool was John F. Kennedy who had Marylin Monroe jump out of his birthday cake. Obama 2012!!!
