Why the president of North Korea don't allow journalists?

Kim Jong Un is the leader of North Korea. (Presidents are elected by the people... the North Korean people did not choose their leader so he is not called a president. He is called Supreme Leader). He wants to control all the information that the North Korean people have access to and wants to limit the information the rest of the world has about his country. So journalists are not allowed to report anything that is not approved by the government.

What do they call president in North Korea?

North Korea has a title of "President" however, this is reserved for the "Eternal President" Kim Il-Sung, who officially is the leader of the North Korean State despite being dead since 1994. However, for actual governance, Kim Il-Sung's grandson, Kim Jong-Un is the Supreme Leader of North Korea. So the equivalent function of "President" in North Korea would be "Supreme Leader", even though there is a "President" in North Korea whose functions are completely different.

Why did the Vietnamese people need a good leader during the Vietnam war?

First of all, there were two Vietnamese peoples during the war. The North Vietnamese had a good leader, whilst the South Vietnamese may have had decent leader, the north had a better one; since the north won the war. Secondly, any nation could use a good leader. Unless that particular nation (country) is doing so well (economically, etc.) that it excels on it's own...in which case the leader is nothing but a "figure head" (a person who is leader of nation in title but has NO real authority).

Who was the leader of the Korean army in the Korean War?

Mao Zedong. Without the Chinese confrontation with the US-led UN force, the war would not have stalled as it did, forcing a stalemate along the current border between north and south. From the perspective of lasting strategic impact, Mao made sure that the Koreas remained divided politally and ideologically, and gave North Korea the space it needed to become a somewhat difficult international player.
