Why is RuneScape so addicting?

Because you can talk to all your mates and there's plenty to do whilst you are bored, when you are bored. Being addicted to Runescape is also based on one's personality. Runescape addiction is much like an addiction to drugs, smoking, or other things like that. For some people, playing Runescape feels good and results in not wanting to stop and you eventually get hooked on it. So being addicted to Runescape is not to be blamed on the game itself but on the person. If your will to quit it is strong enough then you will succeed in beating the addiction. If you have an addictive personality then limit your time doing things like playing games like Runescape, drinking, smoking, etc and hopefully you will not become addicted.

Because you're probably thinking "I'm gonna train runecrafting", for example, and then along the way you see a person picking flax. "Ooh, I've gotta make bowstrings", you think, and you start picking flax and spinning it, and then - well - you get the point. Then your mom comes along, and boots you off the computer, while you say "Aww mom, I was just finishing up training magic" and then you can't stop thinking about what you're going to do when you next log in. 'Course, I myself am helplessly addicted as well, and I must get back to it before I EXPLODE from lack of playing. I am a very bad role model when it comes to controlling runescape time. Pray that I eventually get tired of runescape. See ya! Cos it's simple to get on and just chat n all also unlike habbo it's got combat i totally agree its very addicting cause you want to do more and more.....
