Solar Energy is only better than wind energy in a place where there is a plenty of sun.
Wind turbines require maintenance, but solar panels need to be cleaned.
Solar energy is more constant (in areas with little cloud cover) and comes directly from the sun unlike wind which is derived from solar energy
