William Howard Taft was born September 15, 1857 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Taft was the 27th President of the United States. He served one term. He weight over 300 pounds and was the heaviest presidents ever elected. He was also the last to have facial hair. Taft died on March 8, 1930 in Washington, D.C. at the age of 72.
