A report is a secondary source of information because ,it presents and discusses information that was originally shown somewhere else first, it uses the original information through reporting, interpreting or analyzing what someone who carried out a research ,experienced an event or witnessed an event said and what we understand from an event or research. Secondary information is usually based on primary information.Just like a report which is based on records and research.Finally,report is published in books or articles by authors who were not eyewitnesses or participants in the historical event or period and who based their interpretation on primary sources, research, and study.
