Because of the water cycle.
Water is a renewable resource. It falls from the sky, runs down hills and into rivers and dams. It is collected into pipes and piped into our factories and houses where we use it, dirty it, and pass it on. It is cleaned up a bit and eventually makes its way into waterways and oceans. There the sun evaporates it and the water vapor floats up into clouds. The clouds blow over the land and the rain falls.
All over again. Renewable.
Yes, Bamboo is a prolific grower it is hardy and replaces harvested plants very quickly it's just a mater of keeping up the fertilizer and water to keep the plant renewing its self.

Any resource that is not renewable, or self-renewing, cannot be replaced (at least, not in our lifetime).Fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) are a good example, as they took hundreds of millions of years to turn from organic material to fuel.
A true renewable resource MUST be inexhaustible. They would self renew.
Yes i is. Though some people say it is a renewable resource too. But, scientificly approved, it is considered a non-renewable resource because it takes too long to renew its self. Ask more questions if you need any more data! I am glad to help!
