Cars use a single plate clutch as there is enough space to use the correct dia plate to create the right amount of torque, while motorbikes use multi-plate clutches because they have limited room and need to create more friction surfaces to produce the required torque.
no
Yes
bad clutch cable, or not enough oil on the clutch plates.
Yes of course they have clutch because this very necessary part of bike.
actually i ride bikes and the clutch to change gears is on the left , very few have it on the right
depends on the bike, on our wet sump, we use regular petroleum, on the dry clutch, can use fully synthetic, can feel power differently, but full synthetic makes the clutch slip on wet clutch bikes.

The main reason is to rest their hands and/or adjust their clutch lever. Since the bikes have a single gear, releasing the clutch means the back wheel starts to turn and if the bike was not leant over on the footpeg (thus raising the back wheel off the floor) the bike would move forward. The clutch is easily adjustable to ensure that the level feels right to each individual rider and is adjusted each time a rider is making a start.
