Why is a volcano a problem?

Environmentaleffectscaused by the volcanoes can kill crops and animals that are near to it's location the ash falls that spread when a volcanoe errupts may harm not only the environment but also the humans as well. environmental problems consist such as mud slide,tsunami,earthquakes,floods,drought and death to people,animals and plants.Volcanoes can also cause distructon of buildings,roads but they also bring minerals like gold,silver,iron,etc.

There are several problems to a planet like Earth.

- Volcanoes can create landslides/mudslides in unstable ground

- When erupting, volcanoes release clouds of gases. These gases spread all over the globe and block the sun for some time. (not fully. this is only enough to drop the temperature a couple degrees. This actually happened once!)

- Volcanic gases can kill people (and other living things) by suffocation

- Lava will set things on fire and bury animals + plants

- There is a possibility gases from the eruption can mingle with evaporated water (clouds) and create sulfuric acid or acid rain.
