Air pollution's most notable effect is on the respiratory systems of animals and people who must live with it. People living in areas with high levels of air pollution can develop Allergies, Asthma, and other respiratory problems. Animals suffer similar effects, leading to struggling populations of more sensitive animals like birds.

Air pollution in Mexico is mainly caused by the large number of unregulated vehicles that emit high levels of black carbon (soot) throughout the streets of the city. This soot is derived from the incomplete combustion of diesel fuels. The main reason why diesel fuel is not burnt properly is because there is less oxygen in Mexico City given its altitude (2240 metres (7349 ft) above sea-level).
Another problem that concerns soot is the fact that it is hydrophobic. While all other air pollutants such as sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide are washed out of the atmosphere when it rains, soot is not. The Mexican government has successfully reduced most forms of air pollution in Mexico City, except for the soot, since this is the most difficult to remove.
Another cause of air pollution in Mexico city is that the fact that the city is surrounded on three sides by mountains. This of course prevents the air pollution from easily escaping on days and nights when there is little wind.

Mexico's cities have lots of pollution, in this case Mexico city, its the way it is because of its enormous population, this causes heavy traffic and traffic causes pollution not only that but Mexico has lots of industrial, allthough, Mexico has seeing some improvements in their air qualitys .
It would benefit private health institutions, as may people fall sick due to high pollution levels.
In general terms however, pollution is the unwanted by-product of economic growth and does not benefit anybody in the long term. Nowadays, there are 2,555 deadly victims per year whose deaths can be traced to air pollution in Mexico City (2014).
Mexico City was founded on what once was the floor of lake Texcoco. Also, the Texcoco valley is surrounded by many hills and mountains that prevent strong air currents from ever reaching Mexico City.
Therefore, a "pressure cooker" effect happens over Mexico City: the smog generated from cars and industries is trapped because no air currents take away the smog.
because the pollution caused in Mexico city is almost like a thick fog
mostly land and noise
Nothing really. Mexico city is polluted because they drained the river out. Mexicio City lies into two valleys making the pollution stay in the valley leading up to alot of acid rain. So, I dont think we can really do anything about the pollution in Mexico City.
