We have so many illegal immigrants being exploited every day. And like Martin King said, "injustice to one is injustice for all", if we allow a group of people to be exploited, it will open the door to further injustice to someone else.

Just a few exploits that happen on a regular basis:

  1. Farmers hire immigrants to pick their crops. They pay illegal immigrants a miserable amount, and when they feel like saving some money, they call ICE on them, and deport them without paying them their owed money. Legal or illegal, every person deserves justice.
  2. The Government itself is exploiting illegal immigrants. They charge their paychecks Social security and other taxes, when they know that the illegal immigrant will get absolutely no benefits in the future. The government relies on exploiting illegal immigrants because if they didn't, the Social Security plan would have failed a long time ago. All the baby boomers are retiring in masses now days, and people are living to be older, this has put a huge stress on the Social Security system, and illegal immigrants can't get retirement benefits, but they still have to pay Social Security.
  3. There are millions of undocumented students that wish to further their education to help make the United States a better place. These students do not have access to federal aide to pay for college, and some colleges have even banned undocumented students. Those undocumented students that have graduated from college cannot take positions for which they studied for. We have undocumented doctors, lawyers, inventors, and innovators working at Mcdonalds, as janitors, and orange pickers. This misplacement of our educated workforce is what will destroy the United States.

Yes. It's impossible to fix and re-enforce Immigration laws if not everyone in the country is here legally. A reform ensures that everyone in the country is documented, those that aren't documented have to pay legal fees and go through a background check process that deports people with past crimes, and legalizes those with clean backgrounds.
