euthanasia is assisted suicide. There are loads of different views on it but some people think its right because in some cases, it can be the most caring thing to do, for example:
If a loved one was diagnosed with a terminal illness and they are in constant pain every day and suffer phisicaly and mentaly from this pain... if the asked you to help them end their life, if it was what they wanted, if they wanted to die with dignity, die how THEY wanted to die, not just sit there for days on end just wishing that they were dead... then would it not be the most caring thing to do?
I feel that euthanasia shouldn't be preformed on a person that has no say in the matter for example a child or baby. I think that the legal age for euthanasia should at least be 16 years of age as they are more aware of the circumstances, but that is just my view.
Often, when an animal has been badly hurt and we know there is nothing that can be done. Many people may shoot it, "to put it out of it's misery." This is called a "mercy kill." We do it because we do not want that animal to suffer anymore than it has to. Why is it so hard to imagine when the animal is replaced by a human. I believe those who can not see the mercy in euthanasia have obviously never watched a person suffer. They have never witnessed a person laying in a hospital bed, drowning to death in their own bodily fluids, from pneumonia. They have never held the hand of a victim, who is suffering from the severe pain from the cancer that is eating them alive. They also have probably never heard a person beg to die, for it is their only relief. If they had or ever do then maybe the would become sympathetic maybe a little empathetic to what that person it going through.
Euthanasia can be a right depending upon where you live. In America it is a right in only some states because it was determined a state by state issue

Euthanasia is from the greek words Eu (good) and Thanos (death). The name says it all - Euthanasia means good death. Euthanasia of pets is a fairly common decision when a terminally ill or injured pet cannot be saved by veterinary intervention and is suffering. Euthanasia of humans, by choice of that person, is a far more controversial topic. Many people believe that they have the right to end their lives at peace and with dignity, whenever they choose. Many individuals feel that a person has the right to decide to die rather than linger, perhaps for years. In such circumstances, the person may feel a burden on their loved ones, and they are often in substantial pain. Others (right to life groups) claim that euthanasia is wrong. Some of these groups are religious and claim that since God bestows life, only God has the right to take it away.
Euthanasia against the patients' will is illegal worldwide. Physician-assisted-death, where the patient self-administers the lethal medication, is only legal in certain countries and the states of Montana, Oregon, and Washington. The debate over euthanasia stems from whether it's morally right to allow people to kill themselves to end their suffering from fatal and/or painful illnesses. Most doctors probably consider euthanasia wrong, though some might argue that it's the patients right to decide whether to suffer or to end their own lives.
Euthanasia is only bad if you've been taught that it was bad. There is no logic to disapproval. Euthanasia is bad. Who is to decide who will die or not. God is the only person that has the right to take away or give life not a doctor. If some one is terminally ill and in pain then doctors help with the pain, when the time is right God will decide when the person's life comes to an end. If everyone decided to give in and die then where would the world be now in terms of medicine? Euthanasia is the easy way out and no one has the right to take their own life or others but God.
