Hello. The most frequent problem would be that your floats are stuck. To fix this you need to clean your carburetor. To do this first remove the plastics the seat and the gas tank. To take off the gas tank you need to disconnect the black tube going into the carberetor. Next disconnect the big black tube going out the back of the carberetor. This is a good time to loom and make sure your choke and throttle are working. Next undo your throttle needle by unscrewing. It will pop right off. Lastly undo the bolts and pull off the carberetor. Now that its off there are three screws. Undo those and you will see to black plastic things. Those are the floats. Make sure that they are not sticky if they are you need to use carb cleaner and clean it out.
if its a xr you shouldent have to mix the gas
The xr100 uses straight unleaded gasoline. (car gas)
Carburetor needle valve probably leaking while engine is not running causing gas to run down the cylinders into the crankcase.
Usually a stuck float mechanism.
1. drive it until you are out of fuel. it will quit leaking. 2. rebuild the carburetor. 3. replace the carburetor 4. identify the reason that it is leaking and then ask another question.
run the engine out of gas!
Your pocket rocket is leaking gas because your fuel line is not switched off or you need to clean your carburetor you might need a new one.
The float is probably stuck open.
your float is stuck in the carburetor. Clean it with carb cleaner.
it hooks on to the engine block and atteaches to the gas line
Seals, or float level.
Busted diaphragm in the fuel pump. Replace the fuel pump to solve this problem. Can also be a carburetor problem such as a leaking needle valve and seat or a pinhole in the carburetor float. This would require disassembly and rebuilding the carburetor.
