First of all, we should not feel bad about having a carbon "footprint" (I hate that term), simply because we are human beings. Don't run around feeling guilty unless somehow you are part of producing an excessive amount of carbon. What about our production of methane, like all animals? But regarding the trees, for every tree we cut down for lumber or other uses, we should endeavor to replace that tree by planting another. This because trees take carbon out of the air through the process of photosynthesis The carbon is then held in the tree itself as it is mostly carbon. The tree leaves produce more oxygen for the life of animals, including the humans. So that's an easy one. The key is to not feel guilty being a human being and using the earth's resources, but to simply use them responsibly.
Humans can modify there environment in many ways. All of us humans leave a carbon footprint that effects the environment in good or bad ways. We modify the environment with our own actions. We can effect many lives by our carbon footprint and many ecosystems. Because of humans carbon footprint the Earth has effects. The biggest one would be global warming.
Carbon is neither good nor bad. It is simply one of the elements which, in combination with other elements such as hydrogen and oxygen, forms the basis for all living matter. Without carbon, there could be no life as we know it. One well-known compound of carbon is carbon dioxide, one of the greenhouse gases. In normal levels in the atmosphere, it is good because it helps maintain the world at a comfortable temperature, suitable for human existence. Because of human activities the level of atmospheric carbon dioxide has been rising rapidly, which is bad because it is leading to global warming.
BAD, very bad indeed!
It depends. Some people think they need to cut down the rainforest trees but other people are trying to save them and think it is bad to cut down the rainforest.I think that we need to stop cutting them down.
the machines loggers use to log is bad because it provides chemicals and if you cut down trees we will have less fresh air...
Because trees remove tonnes of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Without them we would be dead!!
it would be bad because it can be bad for the environment by producing saliva
My carbon footprint is a way of measuring my contribution to global warming, how heavy my foot is on the throat of Mother Nature (to put it in a very extreme way!).So if I drive a huge car, and have a large electricity bill, and leave my lights and electronic equipment on day and night, then I have a large carbon footprint.Using the carbon footprint idea to help us understand how we contribute to global warming and climate change is a good thing, especially if it helps us to change our ways!A:A small carbon footprint is good. A large carbon footprint is bad. The term carbon foot print is used to indicate how much carbon dioxide is created in a said activity. For example, if you were to drive your car to a particular place rather then walk there you are using a lot more fuel to get there this in turn would release more carbon-dioxide into the air, leaving a bigger carbon foot print. The bigger the carbon footprint the worse it is.

Obviously it's a bad thing - fewer habitats and they give off oxygen. Very narrow answer to a very big question. Cutting certain trees in congested forests helps accelerate the growth of larger trees and in turn sequester more carbon. Letting trees decay and rot or burn releases carbon back the atmosphere - not good.
Crabon footprint is a bad thing
trees take in our co2 and give out oxygen so cutting em down is bad for us.
it isn't but it's bad for us
well when a tree is alive and is doing photosynthesis it stores up carbon dioxide and it releases oxygen. when the tree is cut down any remaining oxygen escapes and the stored up carbon dioxide is released which then contributes to the green house effect but in general cutting down trees is bad for the environment destroys habitats and adds to the greenhouse effect. in return we get paper and wood. if we keep cutting down trees and there is still a demand for paper and wood in our growing population rainforests and woods won't exist anymore and many many undiscovered species and animals will be lost and die out for ever.
Trees hold Co2 and when they are cut down, the Co2 is released, increasing global warming.
When you cut trees down, it is very bad for the enviorment. Squirells and other animals need trees and trees give off most of our oxygen!
It is bad because if you are cutting down trees then there won't be any oxygen meaning that people could die and also animals need shelter from the trees so if they are cut down then the animals will die and some animals are only adapted to living in a tree area so animals and other species could get extinct.
