Outline the differences between masnad and musannaf collections of hadis?

MUSANNAF This is a more comprehensive collection of hadiths in which the traditions relating to different topics are assembled and then classified into various books or chapters, each dealing with a particular topic. For instance, we find chapters relating to zakat, hajj, salat, jihad, good manners, etc. Under each chapter, we find the relevant hadith. This kind of compilation is greatly helpful in understanding the Prophet's teachings relating to a particular subject matter or topic. To this class belongs the M2cwatta of Imam Malik, the Sahih of Muslim and similar works. MUSNAD In this form of compilation, the matn of a hadith is written along with its isnad, that is, chain of transmitters. More technically, however, this term is reserved for those collections of hadiths whose material is arranged according to the names of their original narrating authorities, irrespective of their subject matter. Hadiths which form a part of the Musnad collections are gathered according to the name of the first transmitter. The entire isnad is mentioned which allows the hadith to eventually be traced to Prophet Muhammad. For instance, the chapters are titled as Musirad of Abu Bakr Musnad of Aisha, etc. This method of compilation assists in finding out hadiths which are attributed to a particular companion. An example of a renowned Musnad collection is Ibn-Hanbal's Musnad DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MUSANNAF AND MUSNAD A 'musnad' type of Hadith collection includes all the traditions (Ahadith) narrated by the first transmitter (Sanad/Isnad or authority to report). The narrated traditions contain a mix of various themes not arranged according to the theme. For example, all the traditions reported on the authority of Abu Huraira or Ayesha or Abdullah bin Abbas are listed together under the respective name. Musnad-i-Ahmed of Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal is an example of this type. Such a collection is helpful in studying the life and work of a particular narrator. A'musannaf type of Hadith collection is a Hadith book in which traditions (Ahadith) are arranged according to the theme. The word musannaf literally means 'a compilation with divided up Ahadith'. All traditions reported by various narrators on a particular theme are put together in one chapter. For example, chapters on financial matters, purity, family laws etc. Each of the traditions also mentions the Isnad (narrator's name). Al-Muwatta of Imam Malik is one of the earliest collections of this type. Later, the Sahib works of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim were also compiled in the same way, such a collection is quite helpful in legal thinking. al-Muwatta also contains a number of legal rulings of the community of Madina.

What is Koran teaching on bestiality?

The Quran does not discuss bestiality, and all mentions of sex are mentioned in relation to other human beings. However, there are hadith that do discuss it, and it is condemned; "God cursed those who have sex with an animal." (Musnad Ahmad 3/266) Some scholars also hold the opinion that bestiality is a capital offense.

Why is Hadith important to Muslims?

Answer 1A hadith is a saying of Muhammad or a report about something he did. Over time, during the first few centuries of Islam, it became obvious that many so-called hadith were in fact spurious sayings that had been fabricated for various motives, at best to encourage believers to act righteously and at worse to corrupt believers' understanding of Islam and to lead them astray. Since Islamic legal scholars were utilizing hadith as an adjunct to the Qur'an in their development of the Islamic legal system, it became critically important to have reliable collections of hadith. While the early collections of hadith often contained hadith that were of questionable origin, gradually collections of authenticated hadith called sahih (lit. true, correct) were compiled. Such collections were made possible by the development of the science of hadith criticism, a science at the basis of which was a critical analysis of the chain of (oral) transmission (isnad) of the hadith going all the way back to Muhammad. The two most highly respected collections of hadith are the authenticated collections the Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. (Sahih literally means "correct, true, valid, or sound.") In addition to these, four other collections came to be well-respected, although not to the degree of Bukhari and Muslim's sahih collections. These four other collections are the Sunan of Tirmidhi, NASA'i, Ibn Majah, and Abu Da'ud. Together these four and the two sahih collections are called the "six books" (al-kutub al-sitta). Two other important collections, in particular, are the Muwatta of Ibn Malik, the founder of the Maliki school of law, and the Musnad of Ahmad ibn Hanbal, the founder of the Hanbali school of law.Answer 2The answer to your question (because the above, while right and good, did not answer the question well) is that the Prophet (peace be upon him) was the living, breathing, walking Qur'an. Muhammad (peace be upon him) was the very embodiment of the Qur'an. He is the exegesis of the Qur'an. Without the teachings of the Prophet of God (peace be upon him) we Muslims would not know how to live by the Qur'an. The Qur'an says "pray". Muhammad teaches us how, and when. The Qur'an says "fast". Again, Muhammad shows us what fasting is all about.Every detail that we need to know in our lives came from the best, most noble example of humanity. Those who hurl insults at Muhammad do not know the truth. Even those who think they have an argument about his marriage to Aisha - the young wife - do not know the facts.May the Peace and blessings of Almighty God (Allah) be upon our Prophet - the Final Messenger to Mankind - Muhammad.

What has the author unayn ibn Isq al-Ibd written?

Ibn Ishaq's most famous work is the Sirat Rasul Allah, a biography of Prophet Muhammad. It is considered one of the earliest surviving and most important biographies of the Prophet in Islamic literature.

Are Muslims allowed to celebrate Halloween?

Answer 1No Muslims cannot celebrate Halloween. As Muslims we can't join in on non Muslim holidays, The origin of Halloween comes from warding off evil spirits which is a form of shirk (a major sin ). Even the slightest participation isn't acceptable. Imam Ahmad in his Musnad reported that Uqbah bin Amir رضي الله عنه reported the Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم to have said: "The day of Fitr and days of Tashriq are our holidays, the people of Islam."In Islam there are only two holidays Eid al-fitr and Eid al-Ahadit is haraam to participate in holidays other than those two Eids.It is a pagan holiday that no Muslim should celebrate.Answer 2I, personally, see no problem in Muslims celebrating Halloween. Maybe if these were the older days it wouldn't be right, but today I see nothing wrong with it. Halloween isn't really used for warding off evil spirits anymore. These days it's really just a night for kids (and maybe adults) to dress-up like anything they want to and go out and have fun. The part where people pass-out candy is for kids so that they can get more fun and enjoyment out f Halloween

Why do people believe muslims are terrorrists?

OpinionUnfortunately, as with people from every religion, every ethnicity, every creed -- some people will commit evil acts. A so-called Muslim who kills innocent people is not a real Muslim - as a Muslim is defined as "one who submits to the Creator of mankind, the heavens and the earth." God commands people to be kind and do good deeds, to take care of the poor and less fortunate, and to protect innocent people from harm or injustice. Therefore, if someone kills an innocent person, they are not "submitting to the will of God" and cannot be considered a Muslim. OpinionThe basic problem with Islam is that it sometimes causes death. We are talking about the current world situation and not the past. No other religious group except Islam uses religion as the reason they commit murder. Just because a Christian goes nuts and kills people doesn't make it a Christian crime because it was not done in the name of Christianity as all the Islamic terrorist attacks are in the name of Islam.[hint: the statement above is not absolutely true. Read about the Crusade invasion against Muslims and the Serbian massacres against Bosnian Muslims]. Muslims justifies suicide bombers because they use their body as a weapon to kill non-Muslims and this gets around the Islamic ban on suicide because the primary intent is to kill others, not yourself.[Hint: Suicide bombers are doing so against their occupiers and not against non-Muslims. It is a desperate way to resist occupation]Offensive and defensive jihad is the same if the offensive can be somehow legitimized as in the 911 terrorist attack on the twin towers. The people in the towers paid taxes that paid for the US military in Afghanistan so they were legitimate targets and were not innocent. This act was also defensive as it stopped the taxes from being paid by the people who died.Having read the Koran and the Hadith and studied the true Islamic faith, the Islamic goal is to establish a Caliphate and convert the entire world to Islam. Until this goal is accomplished, Muslims worldwide will continue to perform terrorist acts in the name of Jihad. Those that cannot or will not fight in the cause of jihad will contribute financially and so there is no peaceful and or innocent Muslim by their own logic. Some commit the acts and others pay them to do it. Islam at it's core is a terrorist organization from the beginning and has never changed.[Hint:you are invited to go through questions below to get more information about Jihad, Quran Golden rules, Islam dealing with non Muslims]OpinionI'm not saying that terrorism is legal in Islam when you're under attack by another country by the way of false excuse to attack and with no reason to attack like America is doing in Iraq and Afghanistan. Think what happens when planes drop bombs on your houses and community in front of your eyes and you see your family screaming with pain and lots of them dead. Naturally your reaction will be to kill every one who did that (so there will be no religion in front of you at this time) so they suicide by bombing their bodies to blow up enemies who have taken their free country and who says that no one can defend their country for getting independent. This way of suicide doesn't came from Muslims. It's come from World War 1 and 2. Why do some claim Quran includes some verses calling for killing the infidels?

Some think so either:because they don't know and they just rely on talks of enemies to Islambecause they are spreading false issues against Islam religionbecause they are Muslim extremists and they try to justify their terrorist attacks against civilians, orbecause; mistakenly; they extract specific verses and they don't explain them within its context to understand the full issue. The Qur'an commands Muslims to stick up for themselves in a defensive battle -- i.e. if an enemy army attacks, then Muslims are to fight against that army until they stop their aggression. All of the verses that speak about fighting/war in the Qur'an are in this context. There are some specific verses that are very often "snipped" out of context, either by critics of Islam discussing "jihadism," or by misguided Muslims themselves who wish to justify their aggressive tactics. examples are:1. "Slay Them" - If They Attack You FirstFor example, one verse (in its snipped version) reads: "slay them wherever you catch them" (Qur'an 2:191). But who is this referring to? Who are "they" that this verse discusses? The preceding and following verses give the correct context: "Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loves not transgressors. And slay them wherever you catch them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter... But if they cease, God is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful... If they cease, let there be no hostility except to those who practice oppression" (2:190-193).It is clear from the context that these verses are discussing a defensive war, when a Muslim community is attacked without reason, oppressed and prevented from practicing their faith. In these circumstances, permission is given to fight back -- but even then Muslims are instructed not to transgress limits, and to cease fighting as soon as the attacker gives up. Even in these circumstances, Muslim are only to fight directly against those who are attacking them, not innocent bystanders or non combatants.2. "Fight the Pagans" - If They Break TreatiesA similar verse can be found in chapter 9, verse 5 -- which in its snipped, out of context version could read: "fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war)." Again, the preceding and following verses give the context. 3. Other examplesAs an example of truncated verses is verse 5 in surah 9 that says "And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush." -Which when read as such will be understood simple as a command to kill the infidels. However, the mentioned verse above is truncated from the verses that come before and that come after. When read the verses together you will understand that this killing of the polytheists are only for those who break their treaties with Muslims and prepare to attack them. Read the following verses including the one above to understand the full picture:Quran says (surah 9:4 to 7):Excepted are those with whom you made a treaty among the polytheists and then they have not been deficient toward you in anything or supported anyone against you; so complete for them their treaty until their term [has ended]. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him]. (4) And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (5) And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah. Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know. (6) How can there be for the polytheists a treaty in the sight of Allah and with His Messenger, except for those with whom you made a treaty at al-Masjid al-Haram? So as long as they are upright toward you, be upright toward them. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him]. (7)This explains that Quran commands Muslims to kill infidels and polytheists who attack them or who break their peace treaties with themThe following confirms that Quran does not call for killing infidels just because they are infidels:1. Quran says also )Surah 60: 8-9)Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly. (8) Allah only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion - [forbids] that you make allies of them. And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers. (9)2. Quran says also (surah 5:69):"Indeed, those who have believed [in Prophet Muhammad] and those [before Him] who were Jews or Sabeans or Christians - those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve. (69)"3. Quran calls Christians and Jews as "People of the book" as they are holders of the Bible and Torah that Muslims believe in as God holy books.Quran never calls them as unbelievers.Answer ANowhere in the Holy Quran one can find such a verse!!!- First of all, it's not our business to judge people or to classify them as believers or disbelievers. God & only God judges people, reward or punish them.- It's stated very clearly:( Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things).Holy Quran,(2: 256)so,everyone is free to choose the belief they want as long as they have their mind & determination & as long as they are responsible for their choice.- On the contrary, killing non-Muslims due to their disbelief is a very terrible sin which is strictly forbidden in Islam.Killing in general is the worst crime ever. The Almighty God says:(..if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people...)Holy Quran,(5:32).- The Almighty God states a principal golden rule for fighting in Islam, He says:( Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors. )Holy Quran, (2:190).as you see this verse is general, obvious, fair & great as all the verses of the Holy Quran.- In the Holy Quran God commands us to treat all people including non-Muslims kindly & fairly:( Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just. Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong)Holy Quran, (60: 8-9)- All the verses that command Muslims to fight & kill the non-believers are talking about specific people due to specific justifiable reasons in the Islamic history. Example:(To those against whom war is made, permission is given (to fight), because they are wronged;- and verily, Allah is most powerful for their aid. (They are) those who have been expelled from their homes in defiance of right,- (for no cause) except that they say, "our Lord is Allah".. Did not Allah check one set of people by means of another, there would surely have been pulled down monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, in which the name of Allah is commemorated in abundant measure. Allah will certainly aid those who aid his (cause);- for verily Allah is full of Strength, Exalted in Might, (able to enforce His Will)).Holy Quran, (22:39-40).- Non-Muslims in general & especially the Christians & Jews have always been living in the tolerant Islamic society enjoying a great treatment, all honest historians & orientalists know that, it's admitted even by the Non-Muslims.They are called in Islam (ahl althemma) which means "people of covenant i.e. covenant of protection & care", this covenant is given for them by the Merciful God & His last messenger Muhammad PBUH & consequently by all Muslims.it's strictly forbidden to cause any harm to any non-Muslim, they have all political & cultural rights exactly like Muslims, they have their total freedom of worshipping. These were really quick spotlights, in fact the Islamic teachings have a lot to do regarding the protection & the good treatment of all people regardless of their belief or disbelief.Note: Any verse that asks Muslims to kill or fight the disbelievers doesn't ask them to do so due to the disbelief of the disbelievers. They all talk about specific fair reasons regarding specific events known historically & they shouldn't be presented out of context as the enemies of Islam do in order to deceive the people & distort the beautiful image of Islam.Answer BCommitting Murder is Forbidden In Islam"...if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people..." (Quran 5:32)Some people often use the following verses to prove that Islam allows killing non-Muslims (without understanding the reason and historic context of revelations) :"Remember thy lord has inspired the angels with the message. Give firmness to the believers and instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers. Smite them above their necks and smite the fingertips of them." (Quran 8.12 )"When you encounter the unbelievers, Strike off their heads. Untill you have made a wide slaughter among them tie up the remaining captives."(Quran 47.4 ) These verses were revealed when non-Muslims attacked Madina to destroy Muslims. Allah (God) ordered Muslims to fight to defend their faith and lives. These verses were about 'The Battle of Badr' not for the daily affairs of Muslims. However, even during the battle Islam prohibited the killing of old person, women, and children.Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said to His followers: "Do not kill any old person, any child or any woman" (Abu Dawud). "Do not kill the monks in monasteries" or "Do not kill the people who are sitting in places of worship" (Musnad of Ibn Hanbal).Self-defence"Fight against those who fight against you in the way of Allah, but do not transgress, for Allah does not love transgressors." (Quran 2:190) "Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong." (Quran 60:9)"O ye who believe! take not the Jews and Christians for your patrons : they are patrons of each other; but whoso amongst you takes them for patrons, verily, he is of them, and, verily, God guides not an unjust people." (Quran 5:51)The above verse is reffering to hypocrites because the hypocrites would secretly aid the disbelievers against the Muslims. Otherwise quran doesn't forbids Muslims to have non-Muslims as friends."Allah does not forbid you as regards those who did not fight you on account of faith, and did not expel you from your homes, that you do good to them, and deal justly with them. Surely Allah loves those who maintain justice." (Quran 60:8)So the following verse is about self defence (not violence) when the Muslims were attacked:"Remember thy lord has inspired the angels with the message. Give firmness to the believers and instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers. Smite them above their necks and smite the fingertips of them." (Quran 8.12 )Self-defence is not a bad thing."Would you not fight people who violated their treaties, tried to banish the messenger, and they are the ones who started the war in the first place? Are you afraid of them? GOD is the One you are supposed to fear, if you are believers. " (Quran 9:13)Muslims are forbidden to fight if enemy wants peace:"But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in God: for He is One that hears and knows (all things)." (Quran 8:61)"If the idol worshipers sign a peace treaty with you, and do not violate it, nor band together with others against you, you shall fulfill your treaty with them until the expiration date. GOD loves the righteous." (Quran 9:4)"If one of the idol worshipers sought safe passage with you, you shall grant him safe passage, so that he can hear the word of GOD, then send him back to his place of security. That is because they are people who do not know." (Quran 9:6)Islam forbids killing infedils, even it forbids using abusive language against non Muslims:"Do not revile those whom they invoke other than Allah." (Quran 6:108)"Invite (people) to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good counsel. And argue with them in the best of manners. Surely, your Lord knows best the one who deviates from His way, and He knows best the ones who are on the right path." (Quran 16:125)Whoever converts to Islam because of fear or greed is hypocrite; Islam forbids forced conversion:"There shall be no compulsion in religion: the right way is now distinct from the wrong way. Anyone who denounces the devil and believes in GOD has grasped the strongest bond; one that never breaks. GOD is Hearer, Omniscient." (Quran 2:256)no because it's haram to kill any infidel's or human beings

Why do Muslims face Kaaba during prayer?

Muslims Face Mecca for Prayer When Muslims pray, they face Ka'bah which is in Mecca.Think about the ancient times. Slaves used to bow and some used to prostrate their kings (such as Pharaoh). One bows before someone to express his/her respect. Or some bowed and prostrated some others among them as if they were god.Worshiping is our first job. We are the slaves of Allah. As it is said in Holy Quran: "I didn't create Jinns and human-being, except for worshiping Me". We must worship only Him. We express our worship in the form as we call it Salat-Prayer. And bowing and prostrating should be only towards the God Almighty. But where is He? To which direction should we face while praying? And Allah ordered his Messenger (Muhammad PBUH) to face to Ka'bah while praying. It is like you worship Me and pray unto Me facing to Ka'bah. The Qur'an says (2:144 and after)We have seen you turn your face to the heavens. We shall turn you to a Qiblah that will please you. So turn towards the Holy Mosque (Kaaba), and turn towards it wherever you be. And those who are recipients of the Book (Jews and Christians) surely know that this is the truth from their Lord; and God is not negligent of all that you do. (2:144)Change of the Qibla from Jerusalem (Bayt al-Maqdis) to Mecca (Ka'ba)When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came from Makkah to Madeenah, he used to face Bayt al-Maqdis when he prayed, and that remained the case for sixteen or seventeen months, as is proven in the two Saheehs (al-Bukhaari and Muslim), in the hadeeth of al-Baraa' ibn 'Aazib (may Allaah be pleased with him and his father), who said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) prayed towards Bayt al-Maqdis for sixteen or seventeen months, and he was hoping that the Qiblah would be towards the House (i.e., the Ka'bah)…" Then after that Allaah commanded him to face the direction of the Ka'bah (the Sacred House), in the aayah (interpretation of the meaning): "… so turn your face in the direction of al-Masjid al-Haraam (at Makkah). And wheresoever you people are, turn your faces (in prayer) in that direction…" [al-Baqarah 2:144].Before we answer the question about the wisdom behind this change, we must note the following points:When we Muslims hear of a command from Allaah, we must accept it and submit to it, even if the wisdom behind it is not clear to us, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): "It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allaah and His Messenger have decreed a matter, that they should have any option in their decision…" [al-Ahzaab 33:36]Allaah, may He be glorified and exalted, does not give any command without there being great wisdom behind it - even if we do not understand it - as He says (interpretation of the meaning): "… That is the judgement of Allaah. He judges between you. And Allaah is All-Knowing, All-Wise." [al-Mumtahinah 60:10]Allaah, may He be glorified and exalted, does not abrogate any rule except to replace it with something better or similar to it, as He says (interpretation of the meaning): "Whatever Verse (revelation) do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring a better one or similar to it. Know you not that Allaah is able to do all things?" [al-Baqarah 2:106]Having understood this, we may note that the wisdom behind the changing of the Qiblah has several aspects, including: It is a test for the true believer, because the true believer, unlike others, accepts the commands of Allaah. Allaah has spoken of this in the Qur'aan (interpretation of the meaning): "… And We made the Qiblah which you used to face, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels. Indeed it was great (heavy) except for those whom Allaah guided…" [al-Baqarah 2:143]This ummah is the best of nations, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): "You are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind…" [Aal 'Imraan 3:110]. Confirming the aayat about the Qiblah, Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): "Thus We have made of you (true Muslims) a Wasat (just) (and the best) nation…" [al-Baqarah 2:143]. "Wasat" conveys meanings of justice and of being chosen. So Allaah has chosen for this ummah goodness in all things and the best commands and rules, and thus He chose for them the Qiblah of Ibraaheem, upon whom be peace.Imaam Ahmad reported in his Musnad (6/134-135) from 'Aa'ishah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said about the People of the Book (Jews and Christians): "They do not envy us for anything as much as they envy us for Yawm al-Jumu'ah (Friday), to which Allaah has guided us and from which they have gone astray, and for the Qiblah to which Allaah has guided us and from which they have gone astray, and for our saying 'Aameen' behind the imaam." (For more information on this subject, please refer to Bada'i' al-Fawaa'id by Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allaah have mercy on him, 4/157-174).Note 2Muslims face Mecca when they pray because they believe that that was where the first shrine was built.Note 3Facing towards Ka'bah doesn't mean that Allah is there. Allah accepts our prayers while we are facing to Ka'bah. And also we don't worship Ka'bah, we worship Allah facing towards the Ka'bah. For example, if you are in a place where you don't know in which direction is the Ka'bah, then you can pray to any direction you want, assuming that we are facing to Ka'bah. That is also accepted. For example, the enemy attacks you from a known direction, you can face to that direction and pray in order to be aware of enemy. If the enemy attacks you, you will leave the prayer and defense.Note 4And also before being the qiblah of Ka'bah, Prophet Muhammad PBUH used to face to the sky while praying, then it is commanded to Him PBUH to face the Ka'bah while prayingNote 5When Islam's founder - Ubu'l Kassim aka Muhammad first started, he wanted to pray to what he thought was the most holy city - he used to face Jerusalem, then after he became leader of Medina, he tried to convert the Jews and could not, that's when he started facing Mecca instead and that's also when he started treated Jews poorly.Note 6Muslim's face Mecca whilst praying because that is when Allah got messages from Muhammad the prophet .Note 7It is per Allah (God in English and same God in Christianity and Judaism) command to prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and all Muslims to face during praying the direction of Kaaba, in Makkah (or Mecca), in Saudi Arabia.

What was the age and religion of Prophet Muhammad when is married khadija ra?

Most of the sources say he was 25 years old. However, they were counting in lunar years, so by our reckoning, he was probably only 24.Mohammed's family were all pagans. As a young man, Mohammed sacrificed a white ewe to the goddess Al-Uzza, who was the patron-goddess of Mecca. (See Al-Kalbi, The Book of Idols, pp. 16-17; also Bukhari 7:67:407.) Khadija kept an idol of Al-Uzza in her house, and the whole family used to worship her just before bedtime. (See Ibn Hanbal's Musnad, volume 4, p. 222.)In 605 there was a bad flood that severely damaged the Kaaba (the temple that housed the 360 gods of Mecca). All the citizens cooperated to rebuilt it, with Mohammed playing an active part. (See Guillaume's translation of Ibn Ishaq's Sirat, pp. 84-86.) This suggests he still believed in the 360 gods at this date and that it was only after 605 that his views shifted. So Mohammed and Khadija had been married for at least ten years when they admitted to each other that they did not believe in Al-Uzza any more. (Ibn Hanbal, Musnad, volume 4, p. 222.)N.B. You will often read on the internet that Khadija was a Nestorian, a Sabian, an Ebionite, a Catholic nun or the High Priestess of some occult sect. People who believe this should cite sources. Often they are only guessing.______________________________________________________________Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) never bowed or worshiped any Idol. Khadija was also the same and didn't worship any idol. She was tending to the faith of her Christian cousin Waraqa Ibn Nofal. What is Islamic State's problem with Catholicism?

There is general hatred emanating from Islamic State concerning any religious group (be they Muslim or Non-Muslim) other than pious Salafist Sunni Muslims, since its goal is to rule a theocratic state based on Islamic Law where Non-Muslims feel themselves subordinated to second-class status. However, in addition to the general grievances that Islamic State has towards all religions other than Salafist Sunni Islam, there are specific issues that Islamic State has with Catholicism.1) False Trinity: According to the Qur'an, true Christianity is a Unitarian faith that rejects the claim that Jesus is the Son of God. The Christianity spread by the Catholic Church is one in which Jesus is worshiped as the Son of God, the Holy Spirit is considered a partner of God, and the Virgin Mary is venerated. As a result, Catholics (as well as Protestants, Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, and Mormons) are all false Christians and, actually, disbelievers. Historically, most Muslims did not bother to actually compare the theology of Christianity against this rubric and most Islamic Jurists considered Catholics to be "People of the Book". However, Islamic State takes a very literalist view and if any Christian argues that Jesus is the Son of God, these Christians are disbelievers and worthy of removal or conversion.See these relevant Qur'anic Verses, translation Sahih International:Q: 5:116-117: And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah ?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen. I said not to them except what You commanded me - to worship Allah , my Lord and your Lord. And I was a witness over them as long as I was among them; but when You took me up, You were the Observer over them, and You are, over all things, Witness.Q: 9:30-31: The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah "; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allah ." That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded? They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah , and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary. And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him.2) Largest Opposition & Crusades:The Catholic Church is the largest Non-Islamic religious group in the World and is, therefore, seen as the largest possible threat to Islamic State's desire to create a universal Islamic theocracy. Historically, the Catholic Church was also the organizer of the Crusades, which shows that the Church is willing to fight against Islamic interests. As a result, attacking the Catholic Church is considered an opening salvo in the eventual world war to recreate the Islamic Caliphate.3) Prophecy of Constantinople and Rome:There is a prophecy written in one of the weaker sources of Hadith called Musnad Imam Ahmad. In this prophecy, Muhammad was asked whether Rome or Constantinople would fall first. Muhammad responded that Constantinople would fall first, and it did in 1453, to the armies of Sultan Mehmet II the Conqueror. This occurred roughly 700 years after the beginning of Islam. While the validity of this prophecy in Islamic circles is disputed, Islamic State leaders believe it to be accurate and an End Times Prophecy. According to them, since it took roughly 700 years for Constantinople to fall, it will take a similar amount of time for Rome to fall, which would put Islamic victory over Rome in the 21st century. As a result, taking Rome and destroying the Catholic presence there to "Islamize" it, is considered a holy action to bring about the End Times and the universal Islamic theocracy or Caliphate.Prophecy: "Whilst we were around the Prophet writing he was asked, ‘Which of the two cities will be opened first, Constantinople or Rome?’ He (the Prophet Muhammad) answered, ‘The city of Heraclius will be opened first!'”Please also see this speech given by an Imam from Hamas mentioning this same prophecy.4) Conquest of Europe:In the minds of Islamic State leaders, it is the duty for Muslims to conquer the entire world. The area most likely to fall to Islam in the near future, in their view, is Europe. As the numbers of Muslims in Europe rapidly increase, Islamic State believes that these groups can begin to enforce aspects of the Shari'a and pave the way for integration into the Caliphate. Of course, most Europeans currently are either Atheist or Catholic, which makes these populations the natural enemies of this Islamic advance. However, Islamic State sees European Atheists as Cultural Relativists who will not oppose Islamic theocracy, so it is really only the Catholics who stand as a vanguard across the continent. Therefore, destroying the Catholic institutions should make Europe more open to conquest.5) Relations with Jews and Interfaith:While historically the Catholic Church is well-known for its Anti-Semitic activities, most notably the Spanish Inquisition and the support of pogroms throughout Europe, the Catholic Church has changed its tune on Jews, most notably since Vatican II in the 1960s. The last three popes, John Paul II, Benedict XVI, and Francis, have actively reached out to the Jewish community to figure out a way to proceed together as allies in common cause. Catholic leaders have also reached out to Islamic leaders to create peaceful interfaith groups.Islamic State finds both the Catholic Church's reconciliation with the Jews and attempts at interfaith with Muslims to be atrocious conduct. In the case of the Jews, Islamic State believes the most horrible things about Jews and sees any attempt to treat them decently as seriously objectionable. (Please see this video for a compilation of Middle East Anti-Semitism, which Islamic State leaders surely believe.) Furthermore, Islamic State rejects interfaith between Muslims and any group because this would assert equality and comradery between these groups and Islamic State believes that Islam is superior to all religions. It is only when Muslims are empowered and capable of repressing others that Islamic State is proud of the situation.
