Heat can be removed from engine in three different ways.
· Conduction : transfer of heat through solid
· Convection : heat transfer by movement of molecules of substance
· Radiation : transfer across spaces as rays such as use of fins.
But, in internal combustion engine, usually heat is removed by passing coolant through air passages around engine blocks through radiator which absorb the heat by air passing over the fins and through radiator core.
Air flow is assisted by Fans
yes it is
Nicolas Léonard Sadi Carnot wrote possibly the first text on the scientific analysis of heat engines. He is sometimes referred to as "the father of thermodynamics" for his work on this topic.
Many engines do this conversion. For example, the engines commonly found in cars convert the chemical energy first to heat (by burning it), then convert part of this heat into movement (kinetic energy).
They can be toxic.

You can do it if you remove the heat shield it works.
engines get discolored because of the heat . the heat comes from combustion from gass and air

Yes. Gasoline and diesel engines are both heat engines.
Yes. Heat engines come in various forms. For example, internal combustion using gasoline or diesel, external combustion (not much used), steam engines reciprocating or turbine, gas turbines, rocket engines.
A car engine is a heat engine, but there are various types of heat engines outside the realm of car and truck engines.
heat engines are classified on the location of the combustion chamber , if it is outside the whole set up then it is external heat engine and vice versa.
Yes, gasoline and diesel engines are heat engines. The energy released by the burning fuel causes the gas in the cylinders to expand and push the pistons, which in turn do work.
Remove the food from the heat source. If necessary, place the food, in it's cooking container, in an ice bath.
