This is Matt DAmore and the answer is the teachings must remain free from air because people need to know they have freedom.
Our Blessed Lord, Himself, in Matthew 16:17-19 put St. Peter (and his successors) in charge of His Church, and guaranteed that the gates of hell would never overcome them. This is important as the only reason that any of us are here on earth is to choose heaven and prepare to go there. Our Blessed Lord did not leave this to guess work, or having to figure it out, He established His Church, guaranteed it, and guaranteed our salvation if we follow it and do what He commanded us to do.
Important
The sacred magisterium refers to the teaching authority of the Roman Catholic Church, particularly when it comes to matters of faith and morals. It is considered authoritative and infallible when the Pope speaks ex cathedra, or when a doctrine is defined by an ecumenical council.
False. A very important contributor to human error is the false hypothesis or mistaken assumption.
An answer from a Catholic member of our community:The teachings of the Catholic Church are nothing other than the teaching of Our Blessed Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who is God, who established "His" Church, and guaranteed "His" Church and send the Holy Spirit to guide "His" Church until the end of the world. The teachings of Martin Luther are those of a man who made up his own teachings fifteen centuries later to suit himself, edited the Bible to suit himself. Now why would you pose a question that assumes that a man's teachings are "better" than God's teachings? The only way to answer that question in a postive manner is to assume that Martin Luther corrected the Catholic Church's teaching and that Jesus Christ obviously could not follow through on His promise to preserve the Church from error.
If any church, be it Pentecostal or Baptist or Lutheran etc... is not lined up with the truth they are in error. However, just because someone is in error doesn't mean they are a cult. A cult is a group that would deny the deity of Jesus Christ.
this is important to be her formula is correct.
To determine how right or wrong their answer is.
Understanding instructions reduces the possibility of error.
The Protestant "Reformers" felt that the Catholic Church had some erroneous and abused teachings. Granted there was some abuse with the sale of Indulgences, this should have been (and was) corrected from within the Church, not through schism as Martin Luther and the other "Reformers" did. In addition to this Martin Luther felt that the Catholic Church was in error with their belief in using Sacred Tradition along with Sacred Scripture, and the belief that Good Works were a necessary manifestationof Grace. [Catholics of course do not believe that we are saved by our works, but as it says in James 2:24;26 Faith without works is dead]
