1)Sudden weight losscan be due to onset of Diabetes. Occasionally adults are diagnosed with Type one diabetes after sudden unexplained weight loss.

2)If you have increased your activity without changing your calorie intake, and you were maintaining a constant weight before, you should begin to lose weight.

3)If no cause is obvious, Sudden weight loss needs to be checked out by a physician.

4) If you are growing, your body will require more food. If you do not increase your intake, you could lose body fat.

Make sure you also get in 30 to 40 minutes of exercise daily. A brisk walk for at least part of the time will help.

If you are unintentionally losing a lot of weight, check in with your doctor to be sure that there are no medical issues.
