Why is it that some mother's undergo their pregnancy in seventh month while others undergo in nine months?

babies born before the nine months of pregnancy are not fully developed and usually need intensive care to catch up. there are many causes for premature labor including drug misuse or other substances. or health reasons from the mother or the baby. also having more than 1 baby in one pregnancy causes premature labor.
