Of course it could be a coinsedence, but it does sound a little to timely. Typical check engine lights after a routine service usually turn out to be an unplugged vac. hose or wire connector unplugged. I would look under the hood and see if there is anything obvious like a vac. hose disonnected near the air cleaner box. You may also want to return the vehicle to the place you had it serviced at. They should look it over and either say sorry for what ever they did and repair it or that the light is not related to anything they did. If it is not obvious, then you will need to scan the vehicle computer to find out what the code is that set the light. You will need to clear the code from memory once the problem has been fixed.
INSP mean "Inspection" or in other words "The car needs a service." IF it has been serviced recently take it back where it was serviced, and ask them to finish the job by reseting the service light. If it has not been serviced, get it serviced.
HVAC should be serviced about twice a year. I prefer service just before summer so I'm not left in the heat and just before winter so I'm not left in the cold.

Teh service engine light does not mean you need to service the engine. It means that there is a problem. You should have asked the tech that had his hands on the car. Could be a bunch of things from an injector to a spark plug.
take it to a garage and get it serviced and then they will turn it of son.
