It's not because "it sucks" like the last person commented!! You are probably using the wrong Transmission Fluid. You have to use ATF +3 and above. The Dexron and Mercon will not work!! You also probably have a gasket leak at the transmission shift solenoid which is located on the top/front part of the transmission. I have to replace this in my van at the minimum cost of $150 and I will be doing it myself. You can't just buy a new gasket for it. You have to buy a new solenoid which comes with the new gasket. Your van may also need a new gasket, filter and fluid change. I already did this to my van and it has improved vastly! It has 265,000 miles on it!
