Depends. Sounds Like It Is Out Of Time, Or Plug Wires Are Crossed. Was It Running And Would Not Start Back ? If So Most Likely Timing Chain Problem.
That Boss 302, was a pretty amazing motor.
Ford built a 462 which was installed in the Lincoln from 1966-68. Ford also produced a 12 cylinder 448 cubic inch engine in 1932-33. These are the largest Ford car engines I know of.
Firing Order: 1-4-2-5-3-6 Distributor rotates Clockwise.
replace seat switch Most of the time its the little worm gear that went bad not the switch (the gear is slipping on the fixed bracket) I pushed back on the seat real hard and hit the switch and Mine went back finally, the track/motor assembly will have to be replaced(250 from Ford) Very Common problem
I have heard that one can loosen the motor and transmission and hold the motor up with a hoist and lower the carriage instead of pulling out the whole motor in order to take out the transmission. This will allow one to keep all the odds and ends still affixed to the motor above while one replaced/fixed the transmission. I know that I pulled out the power steering unit this way without having to pull the motor. My ex-wife got her transmission fixed in a Taurus this way.
The 1992 Ford Aerostar 3.0 liter engine firing order for the distributor and the motor is the same. The firing order is; 1-6-2-5-3-4.
I dont have a firing order but can explain what they are real easy. On the motor from left to right starting on the top is 1,3,5 then the bottom is 2,4,6. and on the distributor they are already got the numbers on them.

The firing order for a 1999 Ford Expedition will depend on the size of the motor it has. To find the right firing order for that vehicle, open the hood and note the information on the cross bar at the front of the engine.
