Why is my Engine power loss and why is there oil on spark plug boot?
Engine power loss and oil in a spark plug boot is caused by one of two things, either a cracked valve covor gasket that is letting oil seep into the boot at the top........or even worse a blown head gasket, i would sugguest a compression test to determine the problem
A spark plug is used to ignite the fuel/air mixture inside the cylinder of an internal combustion engine. If the spark plug isn't working, the cylinder won't fire. In a multi-cylinder engine, this will result in rough running and loss of power. In a small, single cylinder engine, this will result in the inability to start the engine.
well you see when the gasoline enters the engine the piston compresses it and then the spark ignites it when it doesn't burn all the commbustable gases in the combustion chamber it goes out the exhaust. so in other words you didn't get all the power out of the gas that went in. since the combustion of the gasoline in the combustion chamber is the engines source of power if the gasoline doesn't completely combust…
