You got Mirena in May and am still bleeding heavily and have really bad cramps is this normal?

I am sorry to hear that you are having a bad time with the Mirena. I too had the Mirena and experienced the same issues as yourself over an 8 month period. It turned out that I had several oversized Fibroids and the Mirena did not help with the stemming of heavy bleeding. I had my Mirena removed and subsequently the Fibroids - best thing I ever did. I know they say it can work instantly or may take a couple of months, but it depends on how long you want to continue with things they way they are. Good luck with which ever dicision you make.

Can you sue Mirena birth control for getting pregnant?

not sure what the outcome will be but me and my wife have expirienced several problems with mirena since she had it put in July or august 2010 and we also are getting ready to sue her symptoms include: BV Yeast Infection (which spread to me) Cramps A bad vaginal smell Genital itching Depression Bleeding/Spotting Headaches Bloating Hair Loss Pain during sex and other people have had many other symptoms to it Breast cancer being one of the symptoms. the doctors never told us about any of the symptoms, all they said was that it could cause bleeding for a little while but would clear up gradually. well it clears up then comes back. they gave us absolutely no symptoms. also if you have no shot at sueing the mirena company, if your doctor did not tell you breast cancer was a symptom you could sue your doctor we are suing BOTH mirena and the doctor. hope i helped
