Fur and hair are the same things. The term fur refers to the body hair of non-human mammals, also known as the pelage.
according to some sites on the internet no. but actually they get hair all over the place. most of the time you will find white hairs on your clothes from playing with one.
No they dont shed as long as you groom them. They look like they're meant to shed, but they dont
They do. They are just look like and feel like hair.
Because it feels like it
all westies shed hair! what can i say
No.
West Highland White Terriers shed very minimally,or seemingly not at all. If yours is shedding "a lot" then either: a.) it is not a purered Westie or b.) your Westie has a skin allergy and is losing hair rather than "shedding". (Allergies are common in these dogs...many times it's their food they are reacting to, but see a vet to be certain.)
This is absoutely normal!!! Mine does too!!! That is just how their breed is. They are very lazy.
Not a lot as they are the same breed, and it does depend on the individual dog. But it is said by many that in general the males are more affectionate and the females more independent.
A Cairn terrier.
It's probably a shedding breed.

The full breed name for the dog that is commonly known as a westie is The West Highland White Terrier. The dog has a long coat and is very strong willed and friendly. Care for the dog is medium since the coat of fur is long and needs to be brushed daily to avoid knotting and dandruff. Also the dog does not shed a lot.
not all only some you can see it at the bottom of their paws bu it could also be them licking and sucking them so if it happens you should visit the vet just to be sure
westies are small compact dogs with floppy ears when young and erect ears when older they are very friendly and good with children especially males.
from shedding or sickness
