This doesn't happen every time, but every id say 1/30 start ups my 1999 Chrysler 300m starts shaking horribly after I start it and stay in idle. There is no rattling but it shakes pretty bad. When you hear the car try to start, you hear 2- 3 "vroooms" as it tries to start, then it just dies. It It usually does the same thing for the next 5 attempts but once I shift it into R or D its fine and back to normal. I looked up online for a few answers and some people say it's electrical problem. Any ideas of the source?
your problem is yu have a broken motor mount that will make the car shake when you start it and step on it
You need to check your timing belt if it is not in time it will not start or run for a little then shut off.
check iac.
The Corolla could be shaking for many reasons. Start by checking the wheel bearings and brakes for wear. Then check the engine to see if it running rough, causing the shake.
It could be that you have worn shocks. Have you checked them?
This will depend upon the type of car you have, the type of shaking and what is causing the shaking. The solution may be anything from tightening a bolt to stop driving the car because it is dangerous.
Does it quit shaking when it warms up? What engine and year of Aerostar?
Why is my car shaking after I hit a bump in the street?? Espeically when I put my foot on the breaks.
As I remember ^^ Because once you start the engine you give it power so it start working, and this power is really so HIGH that your car can start from 0 MPH to 100 MPH or something like this. So for sure it would shake.
If not gapped right your car might start shaking, or even stall or worse no star.
Sounds like you have a bad misfire and are running on less than all cylinders. Check that all cylinders are getting a good spark if petrol.
No. Bucking, I would consider an engine performance issue and shaking would be suspension or steering issues.
