Of course she is mad; you lied to your ex girlfriend. You shouldn't have lied to her and now you are going to have to face the consequences. You have to explain yourself to your ex and deal with it. She is hurt, understandably, and you will have to listen to it.

Why on earth would you want this waste of skin in your life at all. You should take time out and get your head straightened out. This guy had a girlfriend (dumped her) to be with you, then turned around and did the same thing to you. Men don't respect women that allow men to treat them in this manner and then the woman goes back for more! Learn to be more self confident and stand on your own two feet. Get rid of this guy and start dating again. You can do much better.

You could either come clean or fake getting dumped. It would be easier to get dumped than pretend to dump him because you won't get so much sympathy.
