A few years back, my mother had the same problem. Her's turned out to be carpul (spl?) tunnel syndrome. Basically the cartiledge in her wrist was "choking" the nerves that led to her fingers. Because she does alot of repetetive motion such as typing and filing her only relief was very minor surgery on both wrists. She's had no problems at all since!

∙ 15y agoThat's a question for a doctor. Carpal tunnel syndrome is one possibility. Are you taking any medications? Mine go numb and tingle, burn, and turn bright red, then cold and white, and sometimes my toes and feet do the same thing, just not as often. It took me a long time to figure out what was causing it, and it turns out it is a combination of several things, but the biggest is 3 kinds of medications interacting. Fun, lots of fun! You might want to check with your Dr. and Pharmacy both, sometimes the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. There could be a pinched nerve in the cervical area (neck) of your spine, but whatever the cause, this is something that needs to be checked out by a doctor ASAP.

∙ 10y agoThis sounds like nerve damage, either at the spinal cord, elbow or most likely at the carpal tunnel at the wrist. You should try not to use it and ice it for 24-48 hours and then use heat. The doctor should take a look.
