You might be leaving your puppy in the crate for too long. Young puppies can't hold their bladder very long. If you got the puppy from a pet store where he/she may have spent a lot of time in a cage, going to the bathroom in something like a crate or cage might be normal to him/her. Answer hTHe crate may also be to large
Your dog may have a bladder problem. It's best to take him/her to a vet or it could get worst. If there is no bladder problem, perhaps it could be a psychological problem.
Any dog that is small and is trained to not bark and doesn't have "accidents" on the ground. a jack Russel terrier would be nice :)
Your dog may have a bladder infection, causing it to feel the need to go to the bathroom often. Also, check your food to see if there is a lot of ash in the food. Ash can cause the dog to need to pee often and unexpectedly, it s hard for the dog to control it.
If you're gonna keep the dog inside, having it potty trained will make your life ever so much nicer. If not trained, most dogs will pee and poo whenever and wherever they get the urge - even inside. If you're gonna keep the dog outside all the time, then it doesn't matter.
If a service dog is trained correctly, then it will be potty trained.
It is just kind of bad because you might have to have them trained. Another bad reason why you might not have a dog because you have to have a license for the dog, which may cost money.
I think you have to be a dog handler

maybe. Depends on the dog.
It depends if the dog is trained right. if the dog is aggressive and hasn't been properly trained there is a chance it will harm the child. but if the dog is trained properly than it shouldn't be a problem.
A goldenretriver is easy to trained and is very good
If your dog is still peeing on the couch, then you have not trained him/her well enough yet.
