It is lightweight, yet strong, built to laser tolerances that allow for high-speed machine filling. After use it's easily recycleable und it can be made of recycled material. Even if it's not recylced, but made from fresh and clean 'virgin fiber', it's a sustainable product as almost all European and US producers use pulp from 'tree farms' where trees are planted, harvested and replanted specifically for this end use. (See also 'FCS'.) So forests are created and trees are grown for this. Mid 2008, 'Opticon' made a survey on the top brands of virgin fiber cartonboard in Europe. The top 10 were: Rank Brand Brand owner 1. Invercote Iggesund Paperboard 2. Incada Iggesund Paperboard 3. Simwhite/Simcote M-real 4. Tamwhite/Tambrite Stora Enso 5. Frövi Korsnäs 6.
