Because tapeworm eggs are set into the grass or food that pigs eat. When the pigs digest the food, the eggs become attached to the pig. When the pig is processed into pork, the eggs are still there. So, basically, you must cook them well enough so you burn the tapeworm eggs so tapeworms do not enter your body and attach. If this happens, consult a doctor immediatly.
Any meat cooked rare poses a threat to you, especially chicken and pork.

Basically, pork broccoli is a dish of pork and broccoli. There are several methods and recipes. For instance, my favourite method is to fry the diced pork in a little olive oil on a medium heat. Once the pork is cooked (I like it well cooked and crispy), add the cut up broccoli, and treat like a stir fry. Serve once the broccoli is cooked, but still crisp. Once on the plate(s), add a sprinkle of ground black pepper, and a knob of butter. You can add any seasoning or additional ingredients you wish - but do ensure the pork is well cooked.
I would say depending on the thickness of the chops, if they are at least an inch thick 400 degrees for 30 -40 minutes. They will most likely be cooked to well or well done.
What the concern with Pork was an illness called Trichinosis. You would never notice this by examination but would need to use a microscope. In the U.S. at least this disease has been completely eradicated and you no longer have to worry about this. For this reason, cooking to well done is not necessary and medium is fine for pork now.
The basic definition of sausage is meat finely chopped and seasoned then (usually) stuffed into a casing. Some sausages are made to be used fresh while others are smoked or steam cooked. Smoked sausage can be made not only of pork, beef, and poultry but other livestock and wild game as well. Frankfurters or hot dogs are a good example of blended meat sausage. Many include varying amounts of pork, beef, and poultry. Kielbasa is made from coarsely ground pork with sometimes beef or mutton added. Venison sausage usually has some amount of pork fat added to improve binding and moisture retention qualities.
Pork and Pork Products CURFFL Section 113996(a)(3) Unless a customer requests a food to be cooked other than thoroughly, all pork or foods made with pork must be cooked to an minimum internal temperature of at least 145° F for 15 seconds. Some pork contains parasitic worms and harmful bacteria. Thorough cooking is effective in making pork and pork products safe. Temperatures should be taken at the thickest portion of the food. Meat should be firm, not mushy; juices should be clear, not pink. This requirement does not apply to cured foods such as bacon or ham, or USDA-inspected fully cooked products such as lunch meats containing pork or summer sausages. Pork ordered "medium" should be cooked to at least 155° F. Pork ordered "well done" should be cooked to at least 170° F.
so you dont get sick
Well done, good and faithful servant!
By the slice, the medium cooked has more calories as it still contains more fat than has rendered out of the well done slices. By the ounce, well done bacon has the most calories as it weighs less than raw or medium cooked for the same reason: the fat has rendered out and it is lighter, so more slices per ounce. Well done always has the least fat. So if you want the least fat and calories per slice, always use well done.
well you can cook them together and usually once they are fully cooked they maintain the same texture so its not like one might be over cooked. in the event that the smaller one seems cooked or a little over done...dont worry...the longer they cook , the better they fall apart, melt in your mouth and have better flavor. if you wanted too you could also put the larger one in first, cook it a bit and then add the smaller one later if you were really worried about it
