No, they are called sows.
Only if they are female pigs, called sows.
I keep two sows and a boar together all the time. My Red Wattle boar never bothers the sows when they are in labor or the piglets after they are born. However, I think that will probably vary from breed to breed and from boar to boar.
Sows have offspring. Pure and simple.
A "Sow" is a mature, breading female pig. "Sows" is the plural form of the word.

Sows.
Yes, they do
Usually these are called sows.
Some sows (mother pigs) will eat their young. Usually the cause is a nutritional deficit, but some sows are viscious to their young.
I'm not sure if there actually is a techincal term, but they seem to use the same terminology as pigs. Females are Sows, intact males are boars. I guess keeping with pig terminology they would be called barrows.
