Recycling is iMportant because it means we can reuse materials we throw out instead of stuffing it all into ever-growing landfills. We have enough materials that cannot be recycled to worry about. In essence, it's better to reuse when possible rather than specify a location where we can throw stuff and expect it all to decompose quickly.
