Why is rome one of the most useless countries to live in or visit?

It isn't . It is one of the most historical cities in the world and worth every dime it takes to get there. Many things in history and today come from ancient Rome. The Romans built the first roads, malls, arenas, apartments, and created the arch and dome. I have been there 3 times and still can not get enough of Rome. By the way Rome is a city and not a country.
