Its because hed just been a werewolve. That's why when he comes back with Bella, Jacob gives him the-did she see you as a werewolve-look
In "New Moon" Jacob explains to Bella how Emily got hurt and she got hurt because Sam was angry and he was standing to close and then he transformed into a werewolf in front of Emily and he hit her in the face by accident.
Jacob told Bella to leave and never come back in New Moon because he had turned into a werewolf and he didn't want Bella to get hurt if he got mad and changed to close to her. It's because of what happened with Sam and Emily. Sam got mad, Emily was standing to close, and her face was permanently scared for the rest of her life. So Jacob says to leave so that she doesn't get hurt if he got angry. :))
In the second book, new moon, Bella is found in the forest by Laurent one of the nomad vampiers. Laurent was associated with James before his death. Jacob then finds laurent and Bella in the forest, and saves Bella from the bloodthirsty vampire.
Bella and Sam or Sam and Quil
Sam appeared in Twilight while Bella was at the beach, when she met Jacob. Laurent was asking Bella why Edward wasn't there. Sam said that Edward doesn't go to the beach. Jacob explained to Bella who was talking because she asked.
Bella is pregnant and she has to drink blood to save her baby. Sam comes to try to attack Bella and Jacob leaves Sam's pack because he cares too much for Bella.
Sam Uley
he doesnt ever tell her because sam (the alpha male in new moon) forbode it. so, Jacob got around telling her by giving her clues, which actually sparked a dream for Bella, and then she figured it out.
Sam Uley's girlfriend, Emily Young, was making fish fry with vegetables when Bella walked into her house.
