Synthesis is very important, because if our bodies did not have this vital process, food that we eat would not supply our body with energy and growth. A very good example is called Protein Synthesis. Proteins in the rough so to speak, need to be broken down into a form or final product to be used by our body to maintain life. The final end product of Protein Synthesis is called an Amino Acid. Our body requires this process to also breakdown meds that we take. A person's metabolic rate, known as how fast ones own body is able to breakdown food or meds, will also determine the speed in which Synthesis of any protein or other food product, or medication is finally broken down into a product that our body is able to use for energy and the needed blood levels of medications we take.
