It is contrary to Jewish beliefs to put one's faith in gods other than the one True God. Other than that, a person (especially someone who is not Jewish!) is free to serve Him however he/she wants. It is a matter of choosing truth versus choosing non-truth. If God is true, then our job in this world is to emulate the truth that is Him, and one way we do this is by not following falsehoods such as other gods. God is not subject to human emotions such as intolerance. It is impossible for God to be lacking or "hurting" because a person ignores His service. The only one who looses by following such falsehoods is the person who does it, because he is loosing the chance to emulate and become close to God.

Some examples of Judeo-Christian faiths include Christianity, Judaism, and Messianic Judaism. These faiths share common roots in the belief in one God, the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament), and ethical teachings such as the Ten Commandments.
