Angel sharks look a bit like a cross between a ray and a shark. They have long flat bodies and bigger, flatter fins than most sharks. They are less round than rays but otherwise look similar to certain species of guitarfish, electric rays and stingarees.
The angel sharks (Squatiniformes) are a very unusual order of sharks. their bodies are flat, like a ray. They are able to lay in wait on the sea floor for a long time for prey. They eat crabs, clams (etc.), and small fish.
Well it's not a fish because it doesn't have scales or even bones. It has cartilage which is the material your ears are made of, and it's skin is rough almost like sand paper and its skin can cut you.
There are several reasons why. One is that they are the largest sharks (and the largest fish), measuring up to around 60 feet. They have a unique skin pattern as well, with stripes and dots. Another amazing thing about this shark is that (for all its immense size) it only eats plankton, microscopic organisms floating in the water. There are only two other known sharks that do this, the basking and megamouth sharks.
Note: the whale shark (Rhincodon typus) is a shark, not a whale.
An angel shark has a large mouth, pectoral fins, and a flat body. The angel shark is said to resemble a ray except for the large mouth in the front.
it is named that because its "wings" are like those of a angel.
it cannot close its mouth
Sharks have no swim bladder for buoyancy. Instead, an oily liver aids in bouyancy.
no they don't they have caralige (they same stguff in your ears and nose) this is what makes them different from other fish
Salt water maybe, lack of dry, giant whales and sharks.
dependant on which sharks you are talking about all sharks are different in one way or another as most sharks determine other sharks personalitys
mostly sharks are on the go for food and if a shark stops swimming it is not getting oxygen for its gills but the angel shark and other sharks like that try to find a overhang of a place to hide
Dolphins are mammals. Sharks are fish. They are very different, though both are vertebrates.
Sharks share the same family as fish, which makes sharks fish. The other animals in the shark groups include searays and sting rays.
sharks can't live in any other places accept seas and oceans.
