All organisms need CARBON in order to make their bodies,

CARBON is the main componenet of clucose, proteins and lipids, so plants use CARBON to make their food and other organisms eat plants, therefor CARBON gets locked up in their tissues.

CARBON needs to get back into the CYCLE to complete it, and that's why CARBON CYCLE is so important.

without it, plants would eventually use up all the CARBON dound in the nature and when eaten by animals, the carbon would stay in their bodies and in the soil forever, which is NOT good. o.kz

Carbon in general is essential for life to exist, so the cycling of carbon is definitely going to be extremely important. Carbon is a primary component in fossil fuels, which we use to drive cars (the creation of fossil fuels is part of the cycle). Also, plants breathe in carbon dioxide and then exhale oxygen, which humans need to breathe.

Carbon is the most important element from the Periodic Table-life would not exist without it and this is why it is the only element to have an entire branch of chemistry (surprisingly called carbon chemistry) devoted to it.

Plants need carbon for photosynthesis which later produces oxygen by breaking down water molecules. The oxygen released allows for the respiratory system in animals to function. So the carbon cycle allows for all organisms to live and thus is VERY important for the natural balance of things to remain and have a constant homeostasis.

How do people and other living things get carbon?

people and other living things get carbon from the continuous exchange of carbon among living things (the carbon cycle).

What is the continuous movement of carbon from nonliving environment into living things and then back to nonliving?

the carbon cycle

Why is cycle important?

the back bone of life is carbon and with out it you would run out and all living things would die.

What is the oxygen carbon dioxide cycle?

The carbon dioxide-oxygen cycle is the cycle in which living things (such as plants and animals) take in "oxygen" and let out "carbon dioxide."

What is the meaning of Oxygen-carbon dioxide cycle?

It is a cycle on how carbon dioxide is transformed into oxygen for animals and humans and other living things to breathe.

What are the role of living things in carbon oxygen cycle?

How would living things be affected if there were no decomposer to cycle carbon back to the atmosphere?

Living things would eventually run out of carbon and would cease to exist. All living beings require carbon from their environment to survive.

What drives the oxygen-carbon cycle?

The carbon cycle occurs when the carbon atoms are recycled over and over again on earth. The carbon cycle is the most important recycling cycle because carbon is present in every living thing on earth.

Do insects emit carbon dioxide?

Yes, like most living things, insects are part of the carbon cycle which puts CO2 into the atmosphere and removes it again in a constant cycle.

What is the value of water cycle of living things?

Water is one of the major ingredient of life. Thats why water cycle is important for living beings.

How does carbon dioxide cycle between living things?

Humans breathe in oxygen, which plants produce, and breathe out carbon dioxide, which plants take in.
